Discover Beauty of Kathak in Calgary

Kathak Dance Classes at Lay-Tal with Sonali Joglekar

Step into the world of Kathak—where rhythm speaks, gestures tell stories, and every spin becomes a celebration of tradition and artistry. At Lay-Tal Dance & Arts, Kathak is taught not just as a classical form, but as an immersive experience that beautifully blends discipline, creativity, and joy.

Guided by Sonali Joglekar, an accomplished Kathak artist and mentor, students learn to embrace the timeless essence of this dance while discovering their own unique expression. With years of training and stage experience, she brings both authenticity and a modern perspective to her teaching, making each class engaging, inspiring, and deeply rewarding.

From the foundational beats and footwork of beginners to the refined storytelling and stage presence of advanced learners, Lay-Tal offers a structured journey for every student. Each session goes beyond practice—it becomes a space to connect with rhythm, explore emotions, and be part of a vibrant community that celebrates culture, creativity, and artistic expression.
